England Trip Top 10

by Middle L.

Here it is! Part two of the London England Top 10 through the eye of our middle girl (8 year old). Do you have little kids traveling to London? Grab your cup of coffee, be inspired and get ready to smile as we reflect and remember their favorite destinations, tasty foods and see the holiday through their perspective.

  1. My Favorite Food in London was Paddington Marmalade. It was so delicious because it’s delicious on crumpets (softer then an English Muffin). I even got a book from Paddington Station that talks all about where Paddington went around London.

  2. We got to London we rode a subway and we ate burgers on the very first day. Plus we even played at a park in the middle of the city.

  3. The London Eye and Big Ben are both really cool (that’s what I wanted to see) but it was covered in scaffolding for repairs.

  4. Tower Bridge was really beautiful because it has towers and covered in sea blue and it’s over water. Did you know it’s an actually working Draw Bridge?! That same day I had a delicious smoothie from this Brazilian Sushi Place.

  5. I stayed at a castle called Woolley Grange while I was near Stonehenge. They had two bunnies, that was my favorite part!

  6. After seeing the movie, Kid who would be King, I was really excited to see Stonehenge. It was like a burial ground and I got to hear about a Stone Archer who was buried there. I even got a little stuffed lamb I named Lamby. He’s really cute.

  7. One of my favorite movies is “Bedknobs and Broomsticks” because they sing and dance on Portobello Road. So guess what, we got to go there and I even picked up a bedknob. There’s even a store that’s in the Paddington movie, “Mr. Gruber’s Antiques” that’s on Portobello Road, too.

  8. The Science Museum was really cool and filled with stuff to do. We went on a flight ride and expired. Then afterwards we went to the most amazing Science Themed Tea. It was A-MAZE-ING and we had to dress up fancy!!!

  9. I love the Cable Car because it went over the Thames River! It was really cool and very high up!

  10. Something that is really cool about London is the Double Decker Bus. It’s crazy to sit on the top of the bus. They also have a lot of cool and HUGE parks even in the middle of the city. They are really fun and pretty. There was an amazing rose garden that almost like a secret!
