We are trying to beat the heat here in North Carolina. With the heat index well over 100, we decided some icy sweet treats sounded about right. Touring through Walmart last week the kids and I made an impulse buy for popsicle molds, 2 for $1.00. We figured, why not?! We then grabbed a few of our favorite fruits and decided to make a yummy frozen treat. Here’s our recipe for those looking for a processed sugar-free option:

  • 5-6 cups watermelon

  • 10 cherries pitted

  • 1 lemon juiced

  • 1 cup triple zero yogurt (we used vanilla)

  • 1 tsp cinnamon

  • a dash of vanilla

Fill the blender with all of the above ingredients. Blend then place into molds and freeze overnight! Enjoy!

We had plenty of juice so we filled heart and square molds with the extra. 2 for $1.00 molds at Walmart.
